The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will hold a special meeting 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Tues., Aug. 3 from at the State Board office in Olympia to further review the 2011-13 Operating Budget Request. At the meeting, the board is also expected to take action on approval of Edmonds Community College’s request to acquire 3.65 acres of land (not to exceed $3,500,000) which includes three buildings, a warehouse and two office buildings at 7010, 7014 and 7016 196th Street SW,currently owned by the City of Lynnwood.
